We encourage our makers to stretch their creativity because without it we wouldn’t have so many wonderful pieces of art in our world.
Cooperation
We realize there are many ways people like to work, but cooperation is at the base of who we are. We believe working together is rewarding and essential to learn new things.
Education
It’s important to us that our community has access to education and makers are able to learn as much as they can. If you don’t know how to do something we will always have someone on staff to show you.
Community
Our space was designed to give our community a place for productive and creative recreation. Together we can raise awareness for the trades and promote positive change on a local level.
In 2018, Macanon “Mac” Dhein began developing a space for his community that would allow for productive and creative recreation, something he felt was lacking in the Greater St. Cloud area. With time the concept built momentum and in 2021 he opened the doors to Central Minnesota’s first makerspace, Make It Mac’s. As the founder, or as he likes to be called, the facilitator, Mac’s goal is to facilitate people’s self-improvement through creativity and education.
Whether you’re a curious teenager who is interested in alternatives to a four-year degree, someone wanting to take up a new hobby, or even a serial entrepreneur working on a prototype, Mac and his team have put together this space with you in mind.
